Word Problem Wednesday: Let's Build a Snowman!

Feb 3, 2016

This Word Problem Wednesday, we're celebrating fun in the snow! Give our wintery word problem a try; we'll update with the answer tomorrow!

Jordan and Sam are building snowmen together! Jordan rolled 17 snowballs and Sam rolled 25 snowballs. If each snowman is made of 3 snowballs, how many snowmen can they make?

Update - Here's the solution:

Jordan and Sam have 17 + 25 = 42 snowballs altogether. Each snowman is made of 3 snowballs, so they can make 42 ÷ 3 = 14 snowmen!
